About Alicia

A teacher who looks at how you move.

I am Alicia Liu, a Tai Chi and Qigong educator and the founder of an independent movement-education studio in China.

My teaching experience spans more than 20 years across dance, fitness and traditional Chinese movement. I bring these perspectives together to help learners understand their practice, not simply copy a sequence.

Teaching experience

I have worked with Xingqudao as an online Tai Chi teacher, providing movement assessment and individual corrections. My experience also includes programs for Chinese companies and public-sector institutions.

My practice and teaching background includes Tai Chi, Qigong, standing practice, Baduanjin, Tai Chi sword, Chinese dance, modern dance and fitness. This breadth informs how I observe balance, coordination, weight transfer and movement quality.

How I teach

I begin with what you can already do, then identify the adjustments that matter for your current stage. I use observation, clear explanations and practical guidance rather than expecting every learner to reproduce one identical shape.

The aim is to make movement understandable and useful: what you are doing, why it matters and how to keep practising with greater awareness.

In learners’ words

Selected feedback from past online teaching and movement-review sessions. These are English translations of excerpts from Chinese messages, shared anonymously; they are not Fiverr reviews.

“I thought I was doing it correctly, but after Teacher Liu explained it, I suddenly understood. In future practice, I need to pay attention to the details and make corrections.”

“This was the second time she reviewed my practice, and both times she identified the issue straight away.”

Professional background & boundaries

My background also includes previous ACE Certified Personal Trainer certification. My services here focus on Tai Chi, Qigong and movement education, not medical diagnosis or treatment.

For video reviews, I provide Chinese voice feedback with an English written summary. Each service page explains its format, scope and how to book.
